Hinjawad, 19th January 2022: A 25-year-old man raped his sister-in-law and threatened to post a video of her taking a bath. A case was filed at the Hinjawadi police station (Pimpri Chinchwad police) on Saturday after a complaint was lodged by the woman against the accused from Parbhani.
According to the police, the accused took a video of the victim while she was taking a bath. Later, the accused blackmailed the victim by threatening to upload the video on social media. He then demanded physical relationships with the victim but after her refusal, the accused beat and raped her.
This shocking incident happened last month. However, the victim had not told anyone about the incident. Later, the accused started harassing her, then the victim finally informed her husband. They immediately lodged a complaint against the accused at the police station.
A case has been registered against the accused under sections 376 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The accused is on the run.
