Pune: Youth from Pimpri Dies After Falling at Jivdhan Fort in Junnar Taluka

Junnar, 30th December 2024: A tragic incident occurred at Jivdhan Fort in Junnar taluka when a young man from Pimpri fell and died while visiting the area. The deceased has been identified as Vicky Rathod, a resident of Pimpri.

Rathod, along with a friend, had visited the Jivdhan Fort area. While stopping on a rocky patch near the Kalyan Darwaja, Rathod lost his footing and fell. He suffered severe injuries after hitting his head on a rock. He died at the scene due to massive bleeding.

Upon receiving information about the incident, members of the Shivneri Rescue Team, including Rajkumar Chavan, Magdum Ali Syed, and Aniket Karvande, along with a team from the Forest Department, quickly reached the spot and recovered the body. They brought Rathod’s body down from the fort.

Rathod was an engineering student at a college in Talegaon Dabhade.
