Pune : Youth Murders Father For Asking Him to Go To Work And Change Behaviour, Case Registered

Vishrantwadi 19th Sept 2023: In a shocking incident reported in the Vishrantwadi area of the city, the police have arrested a 20-year-old youth for murdering his father for asking him to go to work. The accused also injured his sister during the incident.

According to the complaint registered with the police, the accused identified as Shivnath Laxman Manjule (20), a resident of Tingre Nagar area was unemployed and was angry over his father repeatedly asking him to work somewhere. The deceased father identified as Laxman Manjule (55) would often ask son to change his behaviour to become a good human being. However, angry with this the accused made a plan to kill his own father and stabbed him on chest and stomach using a scissor when the deceased was sleeping.

The accused’s sister who tried to save father was also attacked in which she also sustained injuries on her hand. The police have arrested Shivnath and a case under sections 324 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Vishrantwadi Police Station. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
