Pune: Youth Shot Dead In Chandannagar, Accused Yet To Be Arrested

Pune, 21st August 2022: A youth was shot dead near Durgamata temple Eknath Pathare settlement in the Chandannagar area today (Sunday) morning.

Akshay Prakash Bhise is the name of the deceased youth. He worked on a garbage truck. Local police and crime branch police are searching for the accused.

According to police, Bhise’s killing was due to past enmity. Bhise was standing near the Durgamata temple in the morning. At that time, the accused fired at him with a pistol. He was seriously injured. After the police received the information about the firing, senior police officers rushed to the spot. The injured Bhise was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

However, he died before the treatment could start. The search is on for those who shot Bhise.
