Pune Zilha Parishad Submits Half Year Report Including Performance Of All Departments
Pune, 15th October 2022: Today (October 15), Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of Pune Zilha Parishad, Ayush Prasad submitted the report of performance of all departments and panchayat samitis under Pune Zilha Parishad to Pune District’s Guardian Minister Shri Chandrakant Patil.
Ayush Prasad, CEO, Pune Zilha Parishad said, “The purpose of submitting the half year report is to reflect upon the performance, identify the weak areas to ensure focus so that we are able to make improvements.”
An analysis of the report shows that effective monitoring, micro planning and providing resources leads to better performance.
The Health Department was adjudged as the best department in the first half of the financial year while Maval was adjudged as the best Taluka.
The strengthening of infrastructure by purchase of equipments for primary health care centers and ambulances, definitive key result areas with the clear distribution of responsibilities and intensive monitoring through inspections from teams led to the success of the Health Department.
Prasad said, “Afted analysing the data, we have found that we have done well in provision of services such as in health, nutritions, child development and schools. We have good expenditure in Cess Funds. We have done well in establishment/ Human Resources related works.”
He added further, “Due to the long monsoon, we are lagging in completing public infrastructure works. We have to focus on gram panchayat tax collections and expenditure in 15th Finance Commission Grants on Solid and Liquid Waste Management. We have sanctioned a large number of houses and works under MGNREGA, but we have to focus on getting them constructed at the earliest.”
Over the last three years, Pune Zilha Parishad has been effectively monitoring the implementation of development programs, provisioning of public services, execution of infrastructural works, etc in a systematic and consistent manner. All the reports are published after due verification and have been repeatedly analysed to improve performance.
The ‘Tracker System’ monitors all the works being performed at Pune Zilha Parishad and it’s subordinate offices. A District Level unit was recently inaugurated by Guardian Minister Shri Chandrakant Patil for more effective coordination, real time monitoring, grievance redressal, booking services and planning.
