Pune, 2nd June 2021: The Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) has decided to conduct a survey in rural areas of the district to get information about the understanding of Covid-19 among people.

The number of covid-19 infected people is still high in rural parts of the districts. It is said that this might be because of a lesser understanding of the virus among people. Therefore the Zilla Parishad decided to carry out a survey in rural parts.

“It will help us to understand the daily routine of the people in villages. This also helps us to create awareness and reduce the virus-related stress and anxiety among the people”, said Ayush Prasad, chief executive officer (CEO), Pune Zilla Parishad.

With this, we can plan an action regarding awareness among the people”, he added.
