Punekars May Be Allowed To Celebrate Birthday, Anniversary, Special Occasions In Pune Metro
Pune, 30th August 2021: ‘Celebration On Wheels’, a scheme from MahaMetro Nagpur will be implemented by Pune Metro also, said officials from the public transport utility body.
Pune Metro will welcome everyone to celebrate their special occasions on Metro. This scheme is very inclusive whether it’s a children’s birthday party or a wedding anniversary. Everything is welcome. Punekars will be able to celebrate various events in the running metro with a nominal fee.
By the end of December, Pune Metro will run between Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Vallabhnagar and Vanaz to Garware College. So to attract the maximum number of passengers in the metro, Mahametro will allow small to large individual, family events on the metro train. This will cost less than the rent of an average hall. The group will be charged only Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 along with tickets depending upon the situation and number of people. MahaMetro has implemented such innovative initiatives in Nagpur Metro. Therefore, such activities will be implemented in Pune Metro as well, informed the official sources of Metro.
Various events will be held at the metro station
A henna festival for women was held on 15th August at Nagpur Metro Station. It received a good response from women.
Officials informed that MahaMetro is planning to organize various events at the metro station. It has also planned to implement such various activities in 30 stations of Pune Metro.
