Pune’s Swarali Rajpurkar Tops Maharashtra Class X Exam with 100% Marks

Pune, 2nd June 2023: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education recently concluded the Class X examination, which took place from March 2nd to March 25th, 2023. A total of 1,577,256 students from various regions of the state participated in the examination. Out of these, 844,116 were boys, while 733,067 were girls.

The overall pass percentage for the examination stands at an impressive 93.83 percent, with girls outshining boys in the 10th class results. The pass percentage for girls is 95.87 percent, while boys achieved a pass percentage of 92.05 percent.

Across the state, a notable 151 students secured a perfect score of 100 percent in the examination, with five students hailing from Pune. DES English Medium School Tilak Road achieved a remarkable 100 percent result, with one of its students, Swarali Rajpurkar, attaining the coveted perfect score.

Speaking about her achievement, Swarali revealed that she had dedicated two to three hours of daily study for an entire year. Her initial expectations ranged between 95 to 98 percent, but upon checking the results online, she was astounded to discover her perfect score.

Reflecting on her journey, Swarali credited her success to the unwavering support and guidance she received from her parents and teachers throughout the year. Looking ahead, she expressed her intention to pursue a career in either engineering or the medical field.

In light of the results, Swarali extended a heartfelt message to those students who may not have fared well in the examination. She urged them not to lose hope and encouraged them to prepare for future opportunities diligently.
