Rail Neer Price Reduced, New Rates From Sept 22

New Delhi, 20th September 2025: The Ministry of Railways has revised the maximum retail price (MRP) of Rail Neer and other shortlisted packaged drinking water bottles sold on railway premises and trains.
According to Railway Board’s latest order issued with the concurrence of the Finance (Commercial) Directorate, the MRP of a one-litre bottle has been reduced from ₹15 to ₹14, while the 500 ml bottle has been revised from ₹10 to ₹9.
The new rates will be applicable from September 22, 2025.
The decision follows Railway Board’s Commercial Circular 72 of 2012 dated November 22, 2012, and IRCTC’s letter dated September 15, 2025.
