New Delhi, 01st July 2025: The Railway Minister launched RailOne, a new mobile application offering integrated passenger and freight-related services under one platform, during the 40th Foundation Day event of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).

The app is now available for download on both Android Play Store and iOS App Store. According to the official announcement, RailOne aims to streamline access to Indian Railways services by consolidating ticketing, enquiry, and support functions into a single interface.

Key services provided through the app include booking for reserved and unreserved tickets, platform tickets, train enquiries, PNR status checks, journey planning, and access to Rail Madad services. The app also supports food booking during travel and basic freight-related queries.

One of the core features highlighted is the single sign-on facility, allowing users to access multiple services without managing multiple login credentials. Existing users of RailConnect or UTSonMobile apps can use their credentials to register on RailOne.

In addition to standard login methods, users can opt for simplified access through numeric mPIN or biometric verification. Guest users can also access basic enquiry services using a mobile number and OTP without full registration.

The app incorporates the R-Wallet (Railway e-wallet) feature for cashless transactions and promises reduced device storage use by eliminating the need for multiple railway-related apps. New user registration has been simplified by requiring minimal data inputs.

The app’s launch marks an effort to centralize digital services of the Indian Railways, offering passengers a common access point for travel and support needs.
