Railways Introduces 4 Weekly AC Superfast Special Trains Linking Pune and Muzaffarpur
Pune, 16th December 2023: In a bid to address the escalating influx of passengers, Indian Railways has announced the operation of four weekly AC Superfast special trains running between Pune and Muzaffarpur.
The Train No. 05286, Pune-Muzaffarpur AC Superfast Special Weekly, is scheduled to depart from Pune at 23:00 hrs on 20th and 27th December 2023, reaching Muzaffarpur at 06:00 hrs on the third day of the journey. Conversely, Train No. 05285, Muzaffarpur-Pune AC Superfast Special (Weekly), will commence its journey from Muzaffarpur at 13:00 hrs on 21st and 28th December 2023, arriving in Pune at 21:00 hrs on the following day.
The trains will make stops at strategic locations including Daund Chord Line, Ahmadnagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deendayal Upadyay Jn., Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, and Hajipur.
Featuring a composition of 20 LHB coaches, the trains will include one First AC, two AC 2 Tier, eleven AC 3 Tier, four AC 3 Tier economy class, and two Generator Cars, catering to a variety of passenger needs.
Passenger reservation services for the 05286 Pune-Muzaffarpur Superfast AC weekly Special train, operating on special charges, will open for booking from 18th December 2023. Travelers can book their tickets through all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centers or the official website www.irctc.co.in.
