Rajkumar Badole marked the launch of Dilasa Karyashala, a website for special students

Pune, April 27, 2018: City based Dilasa Karyashala which aims at Rehabilitation and Integrated development of special adults recently launched its website at the hands of Rajkumar Badole, Minister of State for Social Justice. Dignitaries like Medha Kulkarni, MLA Kothrud, Pune, Varsha Paranjape, Committee Chairman, Meghna Joshi, Manager, Dilasa Karyashala, Chintamani Patwardhan, General Secretary, Ajinkya Gokhale, Website Designer were present at the launch of the website.

Dilasa Karyashala which is an initiative by Sevasadan founded in 1984 works for the awareness amongst citizens regarding the special students. “At Dilasa, we provide a platform for special adults and make them learn various vocational activities which in turn helps them in becoming self reliant and independent. In the month of December, a special week is celebrated to mark the ‘National Mentally Challenged Day’. We organize special entertainment programs for the special adults like documentary, drama, puppet show, Kirtan etc”, said Meghna Joshi.

Adding further Varsha Paranjape said, “Rehabilitation is a serious issue for the special adults which we at Dilasa try to work on. Such special students are hardly accepted by the society so we try to make them self reliant through work and practice. And also, we engage them in production of various items like making of paper bowls, various food products, baking, sorting of papers. This full-fledged website for the special adults will help to create awareness amongst the need. The newly launched website can be viewed atwww.sevasadandilasakaryashala.com.”
