Rape Case Filed Against Former Shiv Sena Minister Uttam Prakash Khandare In Pune
Pune, 16th February 2023: Pune police have filed a rape case against former Shiv Sena minister Uttam Prakash Khandare. The case was registered after a woman filed a complaint against Khandare at the Faraskhana police station.
The woman has alleged that Khandare sexually assaulted her several times between 2003 and 2006, when she was working as an employee in his office.
Khandare, who is a former member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, was unreachable for comment. The police are investigating the matter and have not made any arrests yet.
The opposition parties have demanded strict action against Khandare and have criticized the Shiv Sena for not taking action against him earlier.
