“She was standing across the street. The guide anticipated that she might be looking for a hunt and suggested to wait for some time. After seven minutes, we saw the tigress slowly crossing the road. Our excitement knew no boundaries when she pounced on a Sambar Deer behind the bushes just 50 meters away from us”, said Kaustubh.
Visitors said that they are lucky to see the jiff as it is a scarce moment to witness such a moment for tourists in the national park. “It was unexpected and people are often told that it is impossible to get sight of tigers at other gates except for Sillari. But then it’s humans who define boundaries, but it’s all open out there in the wild”, he added.
