Jio’s optical fiber infrastructure extends over 1.5 million kilometers across India. The company has already connected more than 100 million premises through its Jio Fiber service. There are still millions of homes and small businesses where providing fiber connectivity is challenging. Jio AirFiber aims to make this last-mile connectivity easier. Through Jio AirFiber, the company hopes to reach 200 million homes and premises.

At the launch of Jio AirFiber, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, said, “Our Fiber-to-the-Home service, Jio Fiber, is serving over 100 million customers and every month, hundreds of thousands of people are joining. But there are still millions of homes and small businesses that need to be connected.”
