Relief Fund beneficiary Dhanashree Mujmule’s family donates Rs 11,111 to CM’s Relief Fund

Mumbai, July 24, 2019: CM’s Relief Fund provides strong support to many from economically weaker sections of the society. Receiving donations from persons who got a new lease of life from this fund is an expression of a unique and novel sensitivity. The family of Dhanaashree Mujmule of Jalna, who underwent heart implant operation from this fund, donated Rs 11,111/- to the CM’s Relief Fund on the occasion of birthday of Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis.

Dhanashree Mujmule, her father Krushna, mother Kalpana and family members handed over the cheque of this amount to Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis.

Chief Minister has appealed to the people to donate to CM’s Relief Fund instead of wasting it on birthday celebrations. Many have responded to his appeal and the flow of money has started coming in towards this fund.

The flow of birthday greetings to Chief Minister Fadanvis continued even on the second day today. The family members of Dhanashree added sweetness to these greetings. When Dhanashree was four and half year old, she had to undergo heart implant operation at Mumbai’s Fortis Hospital. This operation cost Rs 25 lakh. Dhanashree who got a new lease of life is now five and half year old and attends school and plays with her friends in a normal way.

Responding to Chief Minister Fadanvis’ appeal, the Mujmule family decided to donate to this fund due to which their darling daughter was got a new life as per their capacity.

Dhanashree’s father Krushna Mujmule said that they had planned to give this amount to the CM on his birthday last year but could not do so due to some reasons. But this year they collected the amount with special efforts. This should help other needy persons. We received major amount from CM’s Relief Fund for Dhanashree’s operation because of which she is here playing normally like other children. We have received government help for her education and other health issues, he said.

Chief Minister Fadanvis accepted this cheque by Dhanashree at Mantralaya and gave her greetings. On this occasion MoS Textiles and Dairy Development Arjun Khotkar, Chief of CM’s Assistance Cell Omprakash Shetye, members of Mujmule family and others were present.
