Pune, 20th October 2021: The incessant rains have damaged the crops in Maharashtra increasing the prices of all the vegetables. A bunch of coriander is priced at Rs 50 to Rs 80 in the retail market.

 

Burning the pockets of the people, the vegetables especially the leafy, green vegetables are sold at a very high rate across the Pune city market.

 

The rain which lashed various parts of Maharashtra state is responsible for the rising prices. According to the market experts, the prices will remain high till Diwali. After a long time the leafy vegetables, coriander have received a high price.

 

It has brought the faintest cheer on the face of the farmers.
