Sambhaji Gurav, Assistant Police Inspector Of Pune Police, Climbs Mount Aconcagua
Pune, 24th January 2023: After climbing Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, on 23rd May 2021, Sambhaji Gurav, Assistant Police Inspector Of Pune Police Force, intended to climb all the seven highest peaks on all seven continents in one year. Gurav successfully climbed Mount Elbrus, Europe, and Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa, in July and August.
He also climbed the highest peak in Australia in September 2022. Gurav now successfully climbed Mount Aconcagua in South America.
His journey began on 12th January when he met climbers from Switzerland, America, Finland, Panama, and Argentina. The trek began on 13th January. After multiple days of trekking and rest, the team finally reached the peak on 22nd January at 3:30 PM. The major challenge during the climb was the dry and freezing weather.
However, Gurav and the team successfully completed the climb and descent, thus adding another accomplishment to his list.
