Second International Digital Dentistry Implantology Conclave 2024 Set for November 22-24 in Pune
Pune, 13th November 2024: The Indian Society of Digital Dentistry (ISDD) is hosting the second edition of the International Digital Dentistry Implantology Conclave from November 22 to 24, 2024, in Pune. The event will be inaugurated at 6 PM on Friday, November 22, at the Orchid Hotel in Balewadi, according to ISDD President Dr. Ratnadeep Jadhav, who is also a specialist in implantology and CAD/CAM technology.
The announcement was made during a press briefing, where other notable attendees included ISDD Secretary and dental implant expert Dr. Vijaykumar Tamhane, as well as Directors Dr. Madhavi Mapuskar and Dr. Vijay Mabrukar, both recognized for their contributions to digital dentistry.
The official opening ceremony will be led by Dr. Deenanath Kholkar, Professor of Practice at COEP Technological University. Key international guests include Dr. Frank Zastrow from Germany and Dr. Sam Omar from Egypt. The three-day event will bring together speakers, delegates, and specialists from across the globe, who will explore a variety of contemporary issues and innovations within the dental field. Preceding the formal inauguration, attendees can participate in pre-conference workshops, followed by an oration on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in dentistry.
Dr. Jadhav explained that the conclave is designed to connect dental professionals worldwide, providing a platform to learn about emerging technologies and enhance knowledge of digital dentistry. Additionally, the event will facilitate interactions between dental practitioners and companies producing cutting-edge dental technology. “The conference will focus on advanced treatment methods and implant techniques, leveraging the latest in 3D printing, scanning, robotics, and high-tech equipment,” Dr. Jadhav said. He also highlighted that over 800 dentists from India and participants from countries like the USA, the UK, Italy, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Austria, and Poland are expected to attend. The program will feature hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and an exhibition showcasing the latest in dental technology.
According to Dr. Tamhane, the conclave will also host panel discussions led by a lineup of international experts, including Mike Barshev (Germany), Dr. Vipin Mahurkar (India), Dr. Neeraj Rohida, Dr. Nikhil Deshpande, Dr. Neel Ashar, Dr. Satish Palayam (USA), Dr. Pankaj Chivate, Dr. Nikhil Jadhav, Dr. Frank Zastrow (Germany), Dr. Sam Omar (Egypt), Dr. Laurent Sers (France), Dr. Daehee Lee (New Zealand), Dr. Neeraj Kinariwala, Dr. Luigi Rubino (Europe), Andrei Andreev (Russia), Dr. Majid Omar Issa Abu Arkub (Jordan), and Sudeep Paul. These sessions will cover a variety of topics, including the clinical applications of digital dentistry.
