Seven People Die In Road Accidents In Two Days In Pune City

Pune, 20th November 2022: The number of serious accidents has increased in Pune city. Seven people have died in accidents in different parts of the city in the last two days.

An incident took place in the Patil Estate area on the old Mumbai-Pune road where a young man on a two-wheeler was killed in a collision with a tempo. The deceased youth has been identified as Vishal Hari Vairat (29) of Patil Estate slum. Tempo driver Navnath Baban Misal (25) of Solapur district has been arrested.

Vishal’s brother Akash (age 31) has filed a complaint with the Khadki police station. The bike rider Vishal was on the old Mumbai-Pune road. Vishal was killed when the speeding tempo hit the two-wheeler in front of Gandhi Colony.

A young pedestrian died after being hit by a speeding vehicle on the Lonikand-Mavadi road in the Pune-Ahmednagar Road area. The name of the deceased has been identified as Durgesh Bablu Kol (19), currently residing at Bhavadi in Haveli taluka of Pune district. He hailed from Madhya Pradesh and had come here to work.

 

 

 

A case has been registered against the driver of the vehicle, and police sub-inspector Mahadev Linge has filed a complaint in this regard at the Lonikand police station.

 

 

 

Another accident took place on Kesnand road in the Lonikand area. An incident took place where a young bike rider died after being hit by a speeding vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Tek Kalu Tamatta (27) of Wagholi. Tek was from Nepal. He worked as a janitor. Tek and his friend Ganesh Thapa were on their way to Kesnand Road. At that time, a speeding vehicle hit their two-wheeler. Tek died in the accident, while Ganesh sustained injuries.
