Sharad Pawar’s convoy police van accident near Lonavla
Pune, June 29, 2020: A police vehicle belonging to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar’s convoy met with an accident near Lonavla today morning. A policeman sustained minor injuries in the accident. Pawar is safe and has left for Mumbai.
The incident took place around 10.30 am today on the way from Pune to Mumbai on the expressway. A police vehicle belonging to Pawar’s convoy overturned near Amritanjan bridge. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident.
Sharad Pawar’s car was in front of the police van at the time of the accident. So his car was safe from being hit. The local police set aside the vehicle and sent Pawar’s convoy towards Mumbai.
