Through this feature, you will be able to share your live location with your friends for a maximum of 1 hour. This feature will be particularly useful when meeting friends at a crowded place as you will be able to track your friend’s location even in a crowded place. Live location sharing is available only in DMs and will work in both one-to-one chat or group chat.
How to send live location on Instagram?

Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.

After this, go to the DM section.

Then, open the chat where you want to send your live location.

Tap on the “+” icon next to the text bar, near the recording, photo, and emoji options.

You will see two options: “Location” and “Imagine.” Tap on “Location” to share your location.

Here, you can search for a place by going to the Find a Place option. Apart from this, there is also an option of Send Pinned Location. This option is used to send the pinned location on the map.

After selecting the location, you have to tap on the Share Your Location option. Your location will be sent and the receiver will be able to track you with the help of your location.
