Sherla, Kale emerge winners at the 1st KCA PYC Age Group Chess Tournament
Pune, February 13, 2023: Pratamesh Sherla and Vedant Kale emerged winner in their respective events with 6 points apiece at the 1st KCA PYC Age Group Chess Tournament 2023 which is being organized by Kunte Chess Academy in association with PYC Hindu Gymkhana and sponsored by Sujanil Chemo Industries under the aegis of Pune District Chess Circle and played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana
In the Boys Under 14 Prathamesh Sherla 6pts won his last match against AIM Alaukik Sinha 4.5pts to win the title , in the Boys Under 10 3rd standard student of Millenium School Vedant Kale (6Pts) edged out Advik Agrawal(5pts) in the last round to win the title.
The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr.Ashwin Trimal, Director of Truespace, GM Abhijit Kunte, Mr.Shirish Sathe, Chess Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana. Mrunalini Kunte, Director of Kunte Chess Academy were present on the occasion.
