Ship Modeling Competition Conclude at All India Nau Sainik NCC Camp

Vishakhapatnam, 9th October 2022: As part of the ongoing All India Nau Sainik NCC Camp-2022, Ship Modeling Competition concluded today. 17 teams participated in the Ship Modeling Competition which started on 02 Oct wherein the cadets made a powered scaled-down model of the Indian Naval Ship Talwar capable of floating and being propelled by battery power.

 

The Tent pitching competition where in all teams rigged field tents with perfection was held on 08 Oct 22. The Drill, Semaphore, Service Subjects, Seamanship Practical and Firing competitions are over. The fiercely contested Boat Pulling competition finals will be held on 10 Oct 22.

 

The Nau Sainik Camp of the National Cadet Corps is being conducted under the aegis of the NCC Directorate (AP&T) at the campus of the Naval Children School, Visakhapatnam from 02 Oct 22. The camp has the participation of 612 NCC cadets from 17 Directorates across the country. Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, AVSM, VSM Director General NCC will be the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony of the Camp scheduled on 11 Oct 22.
