Shocking Incident: Teenage Girl Dies in Thergaon After Mother’s Brutal Assault
Pimpri Chinchwad, 15th May 2023: Tragedy struck on Sunday (14th) in Thergaon as a 13-year-old girl lost her life after being brutally beaten by her mother for failing to inform her about the depletion of household supplies. The mother has been charged with murder in this heart-wrenching incident.
Assistant Police Inspector Balaji Thakur of Wakad Thane filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a murder case against the girl’s mother. The deceased girl was only 13 years old.
According to the police, the victim resided in Shivashambhu Colony, Thergaon. The accused mother subjected the girl to a vicious assault using a wooden bamboo stick and a piece of board when she discovered that household essentials had run out. The girl suffered severe injuries to her hands, legs, back, and head. She was repeatedly struck on the chest with both hands and feet. The girl succumbed to her injuries.
The police revealed that the accused mother provided false information to both the government hospital and the police regarding her daughter’s death. The Wakad police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
