Spicejet Flight To Pune Delayed At Delhi Airport By Over 6 Hours, Other Flights Of The Airline On Route Were Also Delayed
Pune 29th August 2023: The passengers travelling on the Delhi-Pune flight of Spicejet on Monday had to wait for over 6 hours at the Delhi Airport as the flight was delayed due to operational reasons. Many passengers who had their important meetings scheduled in Pune and some of them who had plans for their further journey were disturbed due to the delay.
According to officials, the Delhi-Pune flight of Spicejet that was scheduled to leave from Delhi Airport at 9:20 am on Monday departed at 3:24 pm and it was scheduled to land at the Pune Airport at 11:25 am but it landed at 5:33 pm. The passengers complained that the airline kept on giving assurances to the passengers as they went to question the local staff at the Delhi Airport. The passengers complained that the ground staff of the airline failed to give proper response as many of them including senior citizens and children remained stranded at the Airport.
The issue was not only related to one flight as the details show that the majority of flights operated by Spicejet were delayed on Monday. Another flight of the airline operating between Delhi and Pune that was scheduled to take off at 8:55 pm departed at 10:54 pm and landed at the Pune Airport at 12:54 am instead of its scheduled time 11:20 pm. According to the latest details, the airline’s other flight scheduled for today morning was also delayed by almost an hour from Delhi Airport. The flight was scheduled to depart from Delhi Airport at 9:20 am was rescheduled at 10:32 am and it is scheduled to land at the Pune Airport at 12 pm instead of its scheduled time 11:25 am.
The delay in arrival of the flights at the Pune Airport from Delhi also affected the departure from Pune Airport as two flights scheduled to depart from Pune Airport on Monday were also delayed by around two to three hours while many passengers remained stranded.
