ST Buses To Now Ply On Pune-Mumbai Expressway
Pune, 5th January 2023: Due to the suspension of ST buses plying on the Pune Mumbai Expressway, there is an atmosphere of displeasure among the passengers. But now, ST buses will also run on Pune-Mumbai Expressway. In this regard, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) issued a letter with information.
New Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Old Mumbai-Pune Highway are two routes from Borghat to reach Pune and other places in Maharashtra from Mumbai. Most of the buses of MSRTC ply daily from Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Some buses have been allowed to ply on the old Mumbai-Pune highway (via Khopoli-Lonavala-Talegaon). But these buses run on Mumbai-Pune Expressway instead of that route, according to the ST administration’s direction.
Therefore, only a few buses have been diverted from the old Mumbai-Pune highway. Other buses, including Shivshahi buses, running on Mumbai-Satara, and Borivali-Satara routes along with Shivneri, are running on Mumbai-Pune Expressway as usual.
