Pune: PMPML To File Cases Against Those Who Put Unauthorized Advertisements At Bus Stops And Stands
Pune, 5th January 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) administration has decided to file criminal cases against those putting up unauthorized advertisements at PMPML bus stands.
Shelters have been set up at bus stands for PMPML passengers in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities. Birthday boards, political advertisements, and other small advertisements are being placed on it illegally. Due to this, bus stands are getting disfigured.
Due to unauthorized advertisements, passengers do not understand the bus route and schedule information posted at bus stops for the convenience of passengers. Hence, passengers are inconvenienced. Keeping this matter in mind, PMPML has appealed that unauthorized advertisements should not be placed on bus stops and buses.
As per the instructions of the senior officials of PMPML, the PMPML administration has decided to file cases against those who put up unauthorized advertisements. In various police stations of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, the process of filing cases against those putting up unauthorized advertisements has been initiated.
