Star Health Insurance reintroduces Star Diabetes Safe Insurance Policy with more features and less Premium
Mumbai, August 21, 2018: Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd India’s first standalone health insurance company in the country known for its innovative products has reintroduced its Star Diabetes Safe Insurance policy with more value and less premium rates. Star Diabetes policy can now be availed at 15%–20% reduced rates.
The reintroduced policy also provides Doctors’ consultation charges, reimbursement of diagnostic charges and pharmacy bills apart from personal accident cover equal to the sum insured. These additional benefits are being offered to the customers at a lesser premium rate, that is, there is no extra cost for the services mentioned.
The original policy provided cover for a person living with diabetes (in addition to regular hospitalization cover) for any number of years and can take a Health Insurance cover irrespective of their Diabetes status.
Along with the norms of the existing cover, the evolved policy promises to cover all types of day care procedures; this has been a significant development in the policy because earlier the plan included only 405 procedures.
