Std XI Admissions: First-Come-First-Serve FCFS Round To Start From January 13

Pune, January 11, 2021: After the Maharashtra state education department approved of hosting the ‘first-come-first-serve’ (FCFS) round for first-year junior college (FYJC) admissions, the Pune education department has released the schedule of the admission procedures. The Std XI FCFS admission process will start from January 13. 

The FCFS round will be conducted by all the junior colleges/ higher secondary schools under the jurisdiction of Mumbai MMR, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nagpur Municipal Corporation Regions.

Who is eligible for the FCFS round?

All application form part-I verified students with below-mentioned criteria will be eligible for FCFS. Students who are not admitted in any college, in any round conducted so far. Students who have cancelled their admission or rejected admission till now can apply for this round. Pass students of SSC Supplementary Exam – December 2020 students and students who have got ATKT in March/December 2020 examination can also apply.

  • Students who have passed their SSC Supplementary exam- December 2020 are also eligible for FCFS round and can apply in the respective category of FCFS round based on their merit marks.  
  • A real-time vacancy will be available under the ‘Current Vacancy’ section on the portal. 
  • Students can check the vacancy before participating in any category round as per the eligibility. The vacancy may change at any time based on the actual admission status, the surrender of quota seats or cancellation of admission, etc.  
  • Current Vacancy Will be declared on January 11, 2021 hereafter it will be dynamic.

What are the categories of eligibility?

1) First category (90 percent and above or Merit Marks between 450 to 500): – Students who have scored 90 percent and above marks in their Std.10th i.e. whose Merit Marks are between 450 to 500, fall under this category. 

2) Second category (80 percent and above or Merit Marks between 400 to 500): – Students who have scored 80percent and above marks in their Std.10th i.e. whose Merit Marks are between 400 to 500, fall under this category. 

3) Third category (70 percent and above or Merit Marks between 350 to 500): – Students who have scored 70 percent and above marks in their Std.10th i.e. whose Merit Marks are between 350 to 500, fall under this category. 

4) Fourth category (60 percent and above or Merit Marks between 300 to 500): – Students who have scored 60 percent and above marks in their Std.10th i.e. whose Merit Marks are between 300 to 500, fall under this category. 

5) Fifth category (50 percent and above or Merit Marks between 250 to 500): – Students who have scored 50 percent and above marks in their Std.10th i.e. whose Merit Marks are between 250 to 500, fall under this category.

 6) Sixth category (All passed students): – Students who have passed their Std X as per the respective Board’s passing criteria, fall under this category. 

7) Seventh category (ATKT students & All Passed Students): – Students who have got ATKT in Std X Exam. Held in March 2020 or Supplementary Exam held in December 2020, And all Std X passed students, fall under this category.
