Student From Pune Bags Gold Medal For India At International Physics Olympiad 2023

Pune 18th July 2023: Five students from India including one from Pune who participated in the 53rd International Physics Olympiad 2023 made India proud by winning three gold and two silver medals. All the participants won one medal each for the country at the Olympiad held in Tokyo, Japan.
Among the five students who participated and won medals for India include Dhruv Shah from Pune (Gold), Aditya from Delhi (Gold), Mehul Borad from Kachiguda, Telangana (Gold), Raghav Goyal from Chandigarh (Silver) and Rhythm Kedia from Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Silver.
The Indian team was led by Professor Arun V Kulkarni from BITS Pilani, Goa and Professor Shirish Pathare from HBCSE, TIFR. The competition was held between July 10 and 17 at the National National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo. A total of 84 countries participated in the competition and 37 students won gold medals.
