Sub-Registrar Offices In Pune To Remain Closed Today And Tomorrow For Assembly Elections
Pune, 19th November 2024: All Sub-Registrar Offices in Pune will remain closed on Tuesday (19th November) and Wednesday (20th November) in connection with the ongoing Assembly Elections.
The third and final training session for election staff, along with the distribution of election materials, is scheduled for Tuesday. Due to this, employees and officers from the Sub-Registrar Offices under Haveli Sub-Registrar Class-II (offices 1 to 27) have been assigned election duties. Consequently, registration services in these offices will not be available today.
Joint District Registrar Class-I and Collector of Stamps, Santosh Hingane informed that however, document registration services at the Sub-Registrar Haveli No. 6 office will continue as usual.
Additionally, the state government has declared Wednesday, 20th November, a public holiday for the general elections. Post-election, the collection and submission of voting materials may delay resuming regular office activities. Hence, on Thursday (21st November), the Sub-Registrar Offices are expected to start operations approximately two hours later than usual due to election-related responsibilities. Hingane has requested citizens to bear with the temporary inconvenience and cooperate during this period.
