Pune, 5th June 2026:Sugar Cane, Jets Palresha scored wins in their league encounters at the Poona Club Football League 2026, with teams producing exciting football, plenty of goals, and some standout individual performances as the race for the quarter-finals heated up.
Match 17:
Sugar Cane 2 – 0 Jiyo Legends
Sugar Cane secured a comfortable victory with goals from Sanket Kodlikar (4’) and Aarav Sathe (16’). The impressive performance earned Puneet Samant the Match of the Match award.
Match 18:
Advik Parmar All Stars 3 – 3 ASR Strikers
One of the most entertaining matches of the tournament saw both sides share the spoils in a six-goal thriller. Aarish Bhathena (11’, 24’) and Aditya Gandhi (22’) scored for Advik Parmar All Stars, while Yohan Khinvasara (5’), Ayaan Khan (23’), and Rishabh Bora (24’) found the net for ASR Strikers. Aarish Bhathena was named Match of the Match for his brace and overall influence.

Jets Palresha 5 – 2 Amado Collective
Jets Palresha delivered an attacking masterclass with Darien Mazda stealing the show through a sensational hat-trick (2’, 12’, 18’).
