Swami Govinda Dev Giriji praises inspirational life of Dwarkadas Maheshwari

Pune,  3 October 2022: Calling Dwarkadas Maheshwari, the founder of Dwarkadas Shamkumar Textiles shop and Majestique Landmarks, a ‘visionary’, Swami Govinda Dev Giriji, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said his life was an inspiration for today’s youth.

 

“Dwarkadas ji started with just Rs one lakh and that time aimed to open 50 shops, this is called vision. With his hard-work and efforts, he became successful and opened 50 shops, not only in Maharashtra but the entire country. He also shared a cordial relationship with his friends and hence his life is a prime example of how to lead a life,” Swami Govinda Dev Giriji said.

 

Swami Govinda Dev Giriji was speaking at the 80th birthday celebrations of Dwarkadas Maheshwari at the JW Marriott hotel on Senapati Bapat Road on Sunday October 2. On the occasion, the spiritual leader also released a book titled ‘Bhau’, based on Dwarkadasji’s life.

 

Dwarkadasji’s wife Nirmala Maheshwari, his sons Shyamkumar Maheshwari, and Majestique Landmarks Managing Director Manish Maheshwari were present on the occasion.

 

The spiritual leader also recalled that Dwarkadasji plunged into business at the age of 12 after losing his parents when he was two and half-years old.

 

“Dwarkadas’s ji personality and life is an inspiration to the society and today’s youth,” Swami Govinda Dev Giriji quipped.

 

Meanwhile, Swami Govinda Dev Giriji advised people to chase their dreams. “Everyone should dream big and take efforts to chase the dreams. One should prosper, help our family, society, and the nation prosper. Everyone’s contribution is instrumental for the nation and hence one should prosper,” he added.

 

The program, which started by lightning of the lamp, was moderated by actor Shekhar Suman, while Urvashi Maheshwari expressed the vote of thanks. A troupe of ‘Pune artists’ performed Bharatnatyam.

 

The program was also attended by Jayant Shah, Prakash Dhariwal, Shekhar Mundada, Deepak Mankar, Vijaykanti Kothari and Vishal Chordia among others.
