Swaraninad to organize ‘Gangadhar Swarotsav 2022’ from February 18-20

Pune, February 16, 2022: Swaraninad Music Institute has organized a three-day musical program called ‘Gangadhar Swarotsav 2022’. The festival, which will be held from Friday, February 18 to Sunday, February 20, will be attended by veteran artists in the field of Indian Classical Music and will be held at Muktangan Balranjan Kendra, Sahakarnagar, Pune at 6 pm. The admission to the event will be paid.

 

In its 7th year now, the festival is being organized in the memory of Pandit Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare. As many veteran artists have performed at this festival in the past, this year too, well-known vocalists and musicians will offer enthralling performances to the audience. On February 18, the first day of the Swarotsav, Yashwant Vaishnav will perform tabla solo and will be followed by vocalist Anand Bhate.

 

On February 19, Kedia brothers will offer a performance on a Sitar and Sarod to the audience and will be accompanied by Ramdas Palsule. This will be followed by a vocal recital by Amol Nisal. On Sunday, February 20, a well-known vocalist Manjiri Asnare-Kelkar will perform and will be followed by Ronu Mujumdar who will present a solo performance on flute. He will be accompanied by Arvind Azad.
