Swarnav’s Aunt Dies In Accident While Coming To Pune From Nanded To Meet Him; Her Injured Husband, Two Children Admitted In Ahmednagar Hospital

Ahmednagar/Pune, 20th January 2022: A day after kidnapped Duggu alias Swarnav Satish Chavan (4) was reunited with his family in Baner, his aunt who was on her way to meet him from Nanded met with an accident near Ahmednagar and lost her life. Her two sons are critical while her husband has suffered minor injuries.

According to police, after getting the news that Swarnav has been found, her aunt decided to visit Pune. However, the vehicle she was traveling in met with an accident on Wednesday night near Indrayani Hotel on Aurangabad-Ahmednagar road.

The deceased has been identified as Sunita Santosh Rathod-Chavan (36). Her husband and two children Samar (14) and Aman (6) are injured. They are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Swarnav was found kidnapped on a two-wheeler in Balewadi on January 11. He was abandoned by the kidnapper in Punawale yesterday afternoon.
