Taiwan Delegation Explores Collaboration Opportunities at Savitribai Phule Pune University

Pune, 25th November 2023: A delegation from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan embarked on a visit to Savitribai Phule Pune University, marking a significant step towards fostering international collaborations. The delegation, comprising Chou Chi-Chung, Vice President of International Affairs at National Chung Hsing University, Jen-ming Song, Founder of the R&D Department, and Mumin Chen from Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, arrived on Friday.

Welcoming the distinguished visitors, Dr Parag Kalkar, Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with the In-charge Registrar and Director of the International Center, Dr Vijay Khare, engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening ties between the two institutions.

As part of their visit, the delegation explored the university’s international centre and conducted inspections across various departments. They gained insights into the diverse courses offered by the university, setting the stage for potential future collaborations.

The discussions encompassed a range of topics, including academic partnerships, research initiatives, and avenues for mutual growth. The visit not only facilitated an exchange of ideas but also opened avenues for potential collaborations that could enrich the academic and research landscape of both institutions.
