Taj Mahotsav 2025 Starts Today

Agra, 18th February 2025: Taj Mahotsav, the 33rd Festival, is organized starting today, February 18, to February 27, at Shilpgram, Sadar Bazar, Sursadan, Selfie Point, I Love Agra, Yamuna Aarti Sthal, Yamuna Kinara Road. There will be swing attractions for children in the Fun Zone as well.

The decoration is in line with the theme of the festival ‘Mahakumbh of Culture.’ There will be a 10-day program and 13 days of craft fair. The festival of crafts, art, culture, and cuisine has been set. It will begin with Shraddha Mishra’s performance today at Shilpgram. The preparations took a major beautification yesterday on Monday, with walls being painted emphasizing the theme ‘Sankranti ka Mahakumbh.’

All 10 days of cultural programs and craft fairs of 13 days have entry fees of 50 rupees only, and children up to 3 years of age will be allowed to enter for free.

Taj Mahotsav was started in the year 1992 in Shilpgram. This time, the 33rd festival will be organized, which includes craftsmen arriving at Shilpgram. A total of 376 stalls have been set up at the festival. These include crafts and food stalls in open spaces with cultural performances starting from today.
Setting up the ticket counters, food stalls, sound tests, and final preparations was done on Monday. Tight security arrangements, online and offline bookings, major events organizing, stalls, etc are all taken care of.

From February 18 to March 2, Shilpgram will be transformed into a mini-India. Phulkari from Punjab, Pashmina shawl from Kashmir, dry flowers from North-East, woodwork from Andhra Pradesh, pottery work from Khurja region, wood craft from Saharanpur, silk from Varanasi, chicken cloth from Lucknow, bone craft from Sambhal, carpets from Bhadohi, glass products from Firozabad etc. will be found here. This exciting blend of art and culture is making a huge attraction in Agra.
