Tata Motors Unveils the 2023 Nexon EV Facelift: A Revolution in Electric SUVs
Pune, 10 September 2023: Tata Motors, India’s leading electric car manufacturer, has unveiled the latest version of its immensely popular electric SUV, the 2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift. While the official price announcement is scheduled for September 14, the company has offered a sneak peek into the impressive array of features that this new model brings to the table.
One standout feature is the full-width front LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) bar, setting the Nexon EV apart from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. Notably, this DRL also serves as a visual indicator of the vehicle’s battery charge level, adding both style and functionality.
In the realm of infotainment, the 2023 Nexon EV Facelift takes center stage with its massive 12.3-inch touchscreen display. This remarkable screen is one of the largest in the sub-compact SUV segment in India, boasting crystal-clear graphics. Furthermore, it integrates Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, enhancing the overall user experience.
The Nexon EV Facelift’s innovation extends to its charging capabilities. It introduces Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging capabilities. With V2V, it can charge other electric vehicles with a maximum output of 5 kW, promoting eco-friendly cooperation. Meanwhile, the V2L feature enables the SUV to power external devices with a maximum output of 3 kW, making it a versatile energy source on the go.
Audiophiles will revel in the collaboration between Tata Motors and JBL, resulting in a cinematic sound system. The Nexon EV Facelift delivers a spatial 360 3D surround sound experience, courtesy of a premium 9-speaker setup, including an external sub-woofer. Various audio modes cater to diverse listening preferences.
Parking becomes a breeze with the inclusion of a 360-degree reverse parking camera, shared with the new Nexon facelift. This technology offers drivers a comprehensive bird’s-eye view of the vehicle, greatly improving parking accuracy and reducing the risk of parking-related dents and dings.
One of the most intriguing features in the 2023 Nexon EV Facelift is the Arcade.ev suite. This innovation transforms the massive touchscreen infotainment system into an entertainment hub. While parked, occupants can stream content from popular OTT platforms like Disney+Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube, thanks to an in-car WiFi hotspot.
