Pune/Nashik, 17th April 2026: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has initiated an independent investigation and oversight mechanism in response to allegations linked to its Nashik unit, the company said in an official statement issued by CEO and Managing Director K. Krithivasan on Friday.

According to the statement, TCS has appointed external experts from Deloitte and legal counsel from Trilegal to support the internal probe. The investigation is being led by Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO of TCS.

In addition, the company has constituted an oversight committee chaired by Independent Director Keki Mistry. The findings of the internal inquiry will be submitted to this committee for review and implementation of recommendations.
Clarifying reports circulating in sections of the media, TCS stated that an individual named Nida Khan, who has been described as an HR manager in some reports, was a process associate and did not hold any leadership or recruitment-related responsibilities.

The company also refuted claims that its Nashik unit has been shut down, calling such reports “absolutely untrue.” It said the facility continues to operate and serve clients.

TCS further said that a preliminary review of its internal systems and records has not found any complaints matching the nature of the allegations through its ethics or POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) channels.

Reiterating its stance, the company said it maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct and remains committed to employee safety, dignity, and workplace wellbeing. It added that it is cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.
