Teachers can help in shaping a better society – Dnyanesh Puarandare

Pune, August 18, 2018: “Teachers act as role model for the students and they help in building courage and fearlessness. This can further help in shaping a better society by overcoming fear from the minds of people, said Dnyanesh Purandare of Swaroopvardhini. He was speaking in a special program organized to commemorate Kesarimal Jain.
‘Kumar Builders Foundation for Social Initiatives’ presented awards for ideal schools and teachers from Maharashtra. Devidas Zogade, New English School (Tilak Road) was awarded with ‘Upkramshil Shikshak Award’ whereas Vanita Baitade, Meru Vidya Mandir (Wagheshwar), was honored with ‘Satvashil Shikshak Award’.
‘Dnyanganga Vidhya Niketan’ of ‘Eklavya Sevabhavi Sanstha’, Sangamner received first prize under ‘Adarsh Shala Puraskar’. ‘Anudanit Prathmik and Madhyamik Ashram Shala’ of ‘Vidya Kalp Gramin Va Adivasi Seva Samiti’, Pimpalner was honored with Second Prize. The third prize for this category was awarded to ‘Dnyansamvardhini Madhyamik Vidyalaya’, Shirval.
Lalit Kumar Jain, President, Kumar Builders Foundation for Social Initiatives, Kruti Jain, Dr. Pradip Agashe, Examiner, ‘Sarvangin Vikas Yojana’, Prabhakar Kathale, Examiner, ‘Sarvangin Vikas Yojana’, Sonia Modak, Coordinator of the scheme graced the program with their presence. Aditi Kulkarni anchored the event.
I am blessed to be guided under ideal, passionate and creative teachers like P. D. Puranik, P. G. Vaidya and Jayant Kumar Tribhuvan said, Lalit Kumar Jain. Further, he said in near future we are planning to work towards building entrepreneurial skill amongst the school students.
Agashe mentioned that the organization goes through a vigorous process to choose the awardees. He also explained various activities that are done by the foundation for the upliftment of school students.
