Thalassemia child patient birthday wish comes true in hospital
Pune : On the 11th of July, 2016 Ruby Hall Clinic Kamalnayan Bajaj Cancer Centre celebrated the 7th birthday of one of their patients, Rohit Kandelkar, who is diagnosed with thalassemia and has undergone bone marrow transplant.
Since the last 4 years he has been under the care and guidance of Dr. Vijay Ramanan.
Rohit’s wish for his birthday was to get a battery operated car but since he was admitted in the hospital he thought his wish wouldn’t come true. But with the help of Make a Wish Foundation Rohit’s birthday was celebrated in Cancer Centre with a lot of zest and happiness. He not only got the gift that he wished for but he also got discharged on the very same day which was an added cherry on the cake.
