The Orbis School Students Excel at NCC CATC 723 Camp 2025

Pune, 2nd February 2026: Continuing its tradition of nurturing well-rounded students, The Orbis School recorded yet another proud achievement as its students performed exceptionally at the NCC CATC 723 Camp 2025. The camp was conducted at the NCC Headquarters, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune, from 28th November to 7th December 2025, and witnessed participation from cadets representing several schools and colleges.

Prerna Mane of Class 9 emerged as a top performer by securing First Position and a Gold Medal in the Firing Competition. Facing stiff competition from 332 cadets, she demonstrated remarkable concentration, accuracy, and calmness under pressure. Her success in this demanding event highlights her commitment, disciplined practice, and the effective NCC training provided by The Orbis School.

Adding to the school’s success, Sachit Gupta of Class 9 earned Second Position and a Silver Medal in the Communication Skills Competition. Competing among 40 participants, Sachit stood out for his confident presentation, clear expression of ideas, and strong communication abilities. His achievement underscores the importance of effective communication in leadership development and reflects the school’s focus on personality enhancement through NCC programs.

The NCC CATC camp is widely recognised for its comprehensive training structure that emphasises physical endurance, mental strength, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Through activities such as firing drills, communication exercises, parade training, and collaborative tasks, cadets gain confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
