Three Passengers Loot Valuables From Tempo Driver Near Pune-Mumbai Expressway

Pune, 7th December 2021: Three passengers took away cash and mobile phone forcibly from a tempo driver near Punawale on Monday morning.

Yuvraj Lesu Rathod (28) a resident of Krishnanagar, Umbraj, Tal. Karad has lodged a complaint in this regard at Hinjewadi Police Station under Pimpri Chinchwad police.

A case has been registered against Vaibhav Ganesh Labade (28), Sagar Sanjay Adagale (23), Dinesh Sumantrao Gogavale (34), residents of Hadapsar. They have been arrested.

According to police, the complainant was carrying goods from Kolhapur to Mumbai in his Eicher Tempo. On Monday morning, three youths stopped the tempo under the pretext of going to Mumbai.
He took the three youths as passengers. After reaching the Punawale underpass, three youths threatened the complainant with a machete and a knife and robbed cash and a mobile phone worth Rs 4,100.

He lodged a complaint with the police and the accused were arrested immediately.
