Thunderstorm Alert Issued for Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar
Pune, 10th May 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Mumbai has issued a nowcast warning at 4:00 PM today, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light rain in isolated areas of Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar districts.
Gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph are also expected during the next 3 to 4 hours. Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions while stepping out during this period.
The IMD has urged people to stay updated through official channels and avoid open areas during lightning activity.
