Thunderstorm, Heavy Rains With Gusty Winds Predicted In Pune In Next 3-4 Hours

Pune, 5th October 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning at 7 pm today for heavy rains, thunderstorms.

“Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and moderate to intense spells of rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Sindudurg, Nasik, Pune, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Satara, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani and Beed during next 3-4 hours. Take precautions while moving out”, the warning states.

Thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rainfall are very likely to occur at few places over Gadchiroli, Gondia; isolated places over Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur and Nagpur districts of Vidarbha.
