To get COVID-19 vaccine, get registered on the Co-WIN App at home

New Delhi, March 01, 2021: The second phase of the Corona Virus Vaccine has started today i.e. March 1. In this phase, people over 60 years of age and those above 45 years with serious illness will be vaccinated. If you also want to register for the COVID-19 vaccine, the government has introduced three ways for this. This includes advanced self-registration, on-site registration, and facelifted cohort registration process. To register for advance self, you need to download the Co-WIN 2.0 App. You can also register from other apps like Arogya Setu and the Co-WIN website (cowin.gov.in).
How to register for COVID-19 vaccine on Co-WIN App?
>> To register for the Coronavirus vaccine at home, first you need to download the CoWin app.
>> Enter your mobile number to register on the app.
>> After that you will receive an OTP on your phone to create an account. Click on the OTP and press the Verify button.
>> Now you will come to the Vaccination page. On this page, you have to choose the photo ID proof option.
>> After that you have to fill in your name, age, gender.
>> After this the document of identity proof will have to be uploaded.
>> Once you have completed the details, you can click on the Register button. After the registration is complete, you will get the details of your account.
>> After registering with a mobile number, you can link three more people.
>> After that you have to click on the option of Schedule Appointment.
>> After this, fill in the state, district, block, and pin code of your choice and choose the vaccination center.
>> Now you will see the dates which will be available for vaccination.
>> After that you have to click on the book button.
>> After this whole process, you will get a message of the details of the Vaccination Center.
>> You can renew it after booking an appointment, but it has to be done before the due date for vaccination.
If you do not want to download the Co-WIN App you can also register by clicking cowin.gov.in. Even there, you have to follow the same process as the app.
