Top teams ready for Loyola Football Cup
Pune, 16 September 2026: Pune top teams are all set to compete for the three titles namely the Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 categories in the Tata Autocomp sponsored Loyola Football Cup 2026 at the Loyola H.S. Ground in Pashan.
This competition is being organised by the Ex-Loyola Alumni Network (ELAN) and sponsored by Tata Autocom.
This year, teams from schools like St. Vincent H.S; The Bishops’ School; Loyola H.S.; Vidya Valley School; St. Xavier’s; Vidya Bhavan H.S.; J.N. Petit Technical H.S.; Hume McHenry School; Hutchings H.S.; Kalyani School; Infant Jesus H.S.; St. Patrick’s H.S, B.K Birla Centre of Education, Blue Ridge Public School are participating.
The Under-12 category includes the top 14 teams from Pune and they have been divided into four groups. Out of the 4 groups, two groups have four teams each and the other two groups have 3 teams each.
The Under 14 categories have 3 teams each in 4 groups. The only exceptions in the groups are the absence of The Bishop’s School, Hutchings H.S.
Likewise, the Under-16 categories have, the B.K Birla Centre of Education as a new addition to the teams.
This year, a total of 14 teams will compete for the top spot in the Under-12 category and 12 teams each in the Under-14 and Under-16 categories.
A total of three matches will be played on the inaugural day on Thursday, 17 September, 2026 (from 10 am to 12 pm), while six matches from (9 am to 4 pm) will be played on all the other days.
