Traffic Blocks To Be Implemented Again On Mumbai-Pune Expressway
Pune, 5th May 2023: On the occasion of Budh Purnima and the upcoming long weekend, heavy traffic is expected on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. Traffic began increasing early in the morning today, with a significant increase in the ghat section. To manage the traffic and avoid gridlock, the police have implemented a technique of taking 10-minute blocks near the Khandala tunnel and then releasing them. This technique is being practiced to ensure the smooth flow of traffic on the expressway.
Last weekend, there was a heavy traffic jam on the expressway, and the police are taking measures to prevent a repeat of that situation. They are also urging people to cross the ghat section as quickly as possible to avoid delays. Travelers are advised to cooperate with the police and follow their instructions to ensure their own safety and the smooth flow of traffic on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway.
