Trekker From Pune Dies Of Heart Attack At Bhimashankar
Pune 17th July 2023: A 57-year-old trekker from Pimple Nilakh died of a heart attack during a trek in Bhimashankar on Sunday. The deceased identified as Ramesh Patil (57) was an experienced trekker.
According to reports, Ramesh and his group started the trek between Maval and Bhimashankar at around 6:45 am on Sunday morning from Malegaon, Maval. At around 2:30 pm the group reached secret Bhimashankar point where Ramesh stated feeling unwell and became unconscious.
The group members immediately called ambulance for help but since they were inside the forest for a trek they had walk for upto a main road to reach the ambulance. The members present there tried all the ways to revive him but as he reached the hospital the doctors declared him dead.
